Wood Tray
The original servo trays used on the X-Cell was made of plywood. The tray had to be assembled and painted as part of the construction. The wood tray did not have support braces between the tank platform and the servo tray. The wood trays were replaced with the plastic servo trays during the summer of 1992.
Wood trays were used on:
1987 - 1992 Model 1001 X-Cell 60 19?? - 1992 Model 1003 X-Cell 60 Custom 1989 - 1992 Model 1008 X-Cell 30 1989 - 1992 Model 1009 X-Cell 40
Trivia Question? Do you know why there are two holes in the platform of the tank tray? Well the original models had the tank bolted to the tank platform. A plastic bracket with imbedded nuts was placed inside the bottom of the tank and it was bolted hard to the tank platform from the bottom.
Plastic Servo Tray
The same plastic servo tray is used on both the 30/40 and the 60 models. The tray is designed to be snapped off for different lengths and mounting arrangements.
The plastic servo tray was used on:
1993 - 1998 Model 1001 X-Cell 60 1998 - Model 1001 X-Cell 60 ST (Sport Trainer) 1993 - 1998 Model 1003 X-Cell 60 Custom 1994 - 1997 Model 1004 X-Cell 60 Graphite 1998 Model 1004 X-Cell 60 Graphite SE
Two different styles of servo tray support brackets were used with the plastic tray. The H bracket, used with the tank platform, was used in the:
1993 - 1998 Model 1001 X-Cell 60 1998 - Current Model 1001 X-Cell 60 ST (Sport Trainer) 1993 - 1998 Model 1003 X-Cell 60 Custom
The curved brackets were used without a tank tray and were used on the:
1994 - 1997 1004 X-Cell 60 Graphite 1998 X-Cell 60 Graphite SE
SE Style tray
The SE style tray was introduced in 1999 with the introduction of the 1999 Model 1004 Graphite SE (99 Spec SE). The SE tray was constructed of graphite but an aluminum version was introduced and used on the 1999 - 2002 Model 1003 X-Cell 60 CT.
