After about an hour of fiddling, and an equal amount of time of procrastinating, Augie decided he would fly it. The flight went great until he lost one wheel. The decission was made to land gear up in the tall grass. The landing was sucessfull and the plane had no damage - Good work Augie. One of our new Mal Meader students, Tomas Mica, was out flying with Rich Anderson. Wendel had one of his Mustang. Steve finally showed up but without his Sea Fury. The temperature was 27 degrees so I didn't stay long. The presentation was attended by about 25 residents and included helicopters, airplanes and engines. It was an indoor presentation which did not include any flying. The presentation lasted about an hour and was well accepted by the attendees.
